Betty Hampele

Passionate about photography and many artistic fields since my childhood, it was at the age of 14 that I began creating hyperrealistic dolls which would help me develop coloring and implantation techniques on various materials.

Intended for collectors, these dolls are sold all over the world and were an opportunity for me to interact with many artists, especially sculptors for whom I was asked to paint and complete various prototypes.

In 2011, I decided to pursue a makeup diploma in special effects at the Métamorphose school in Strasbourg in order to perfect my knowledge in sculpture and molding, as well as a specialization in wig making which allowed me to refine my knowledge about all hair types, hairpieces and types of hair implantations.

Following this year of intensive training I had the honor of being selected among the 6 European finalists to participate in the IMATS("International, Make-up artist Trade Show")special effects makeup competition in London.

I then turned to other studies until obtaining a title of Engineer in Computer Science in Strasbourg in 2016. After studying I had the opportunity to work in the pharmaceutical sector in the Caribbean and Latin American regions, opening my mind to other cultures and allowing me to get a first glimpse of the medical world. During which I discovered the importance of communication between healthcare professionals and their patients.

2020 marked a crossroad in my career as I decided to the idea of returning to a profession resolutely turned towards the human being combining both the artistic and the medical germinates in my mind and that fate leads me to re-cross the path of Mrs. Riedinger, in order to to evoke the avenues of training in the profession of epithetist. Fascinated by this career prospect which combines both the use of new technologies, the possibility of using my artistic knowledge but also the human side by offering patients the possibility of finding themselves by accompanying them in their journey of rehabilitation by epithesis . I was lucky enough to be able to join the center team in May 2021 to train with Mrs. Riedinger, very motivated by the learning opportunity and the prospects for continuous improvement of epitheses, I discover day by day this magnificent profession helping patients.
