Digital phases

The 3-D scanner takes hundreds of photos which are assembled by a computer. Using this technique, the patient’s face can be viewed from every angle.

We thus obtain images of the complete face which are processed by 3-D software.

Images of the natural ear or orbital region enable us to make an exact inverse copy (mirror image).

The model of the prosthesis is then printed out in resin with a 3-D printer. The patient’s face, which will act as a model to position the prosthesis, is also printed out in resin.
