Anne-Marie was invited by Dr Eliane Revoredo to present facial reconstruction by prosthesis at the 11th congress of the Rede Feminina National de Combate ao Cancer in Brazil. Her intervention shed light on the possibility of reconstruction by prosthesis in a very poor region where mutual aid is essential. Thus the Rede Feminina is active throughout Brazil and represents an army of volunteers who assist cancer patients in hospitals!

A prosthethic reconstruction service has been set up by Dr Revoredo at the Cancer Hospital in Recife.
